These Terms govern all tennis coaching services provided by Jack, operating as an independent freelance tennis coach in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, NSW. By booking a session, making payment, or signing the Liability Waiver, the client agrees to be bound by these Terms in full.

• Tennis Australia Accreditation — current and valid
• Court permit — Eastern Suburbs community tennis courts
• Sport Science student — University of Technology Sydney (UTS)
• 3+ years swim coaching experience
• ATPCA insurance — currently pending; interim policy applies

• One-on-one private lessons (60 min) — complete beginners and casual players looking to improve
• Small group sessions (2–4 players)
• Beginner fundamentals programs

By booking a session you confirm you are aged 18 or over, are physically capable of participating in recreational tennis, and have disclosed any relevant medical conditions prior to your first session.

If Waverley Park is unavailable or a different location better suits the client, sessions may be held at one of the following alternative venues. Jack will always confirm the venue in writing before payment is requested.

Every session rate is fully all-inclusive. Jack arranges the court booking — clients pay one flat rate with no additional fees on top. There is no separate court hire charge at any venue.

• Wear non-marking court shoes at all times
• No food or glass on the court surface
• Vacate the court promptly at session end
• Follow any venue staff instructions

Any damage caused by a client is their financial responsibility.

Jack supplies tennis balls. Clients bring their own racket. Loaner rackets may be arranged at Jack's discretion — request at least 24 hours in advance.

Book directly with Jack via phone, email, or the website booking link. A booking is not confirmed until Jack has responded in writing confirming the date, time, location and session fee.

All prices are fully inclusive — one flat rate, no hidden fees. Court is included in every session.

• Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay, Google Pay via Stripe
• No cash, bank transfer, PayID or cheque

A Stripe payment link is sent at booking confirmation. Jack does not store card details.

• Payment: Processed immediately via Stripe upon checkout
• Scheduling: After payment, Jack sends you a Cal.com booking link. When you select a time slot, your booking will show as pending until Jack manually confirms it. Your selected time slot is held and unavailable to others during this period.
• Confirmation: Jack will accept or decline your booking as soon as possible. You will receive an email notification either way.
• If Jack cannot confirm: A full refund will be issued via Stripe — typically 5–10 business days back to your card
• Cancellation (48+ hours notice): Full refund via Stripe
• Cancellation (under 48 hours): No refund — see Cancellation Policy

Jack may adjust session fees at any time with minimum 14 days' notice to existing clients. Changes will not apply retrospectively to pre-paid sessions.

• Credit valid for 3 months from the missed session date
• Session credit only — not a cash refund
• Any court booking costs already incurred by Jack are non-recoverable in this case
• Applies once per client per 6-month period — after that, Jack's discretion applies
• Must be a GP or medical centre certificate — pharmacy receipts not accepted

A full Stripe refund is issued when: client cancels with more than 48 hours notice; or Jack cancels and cannot offer a make-up within 30 days.

A session credit (make-up lesson) is issued when: Jack cancels for weather/illness and a make-up is available; session is weather-interrupted; court becomes unavailable; or valid medical certificate is provided within 24 hours.

• Cancellation under 48 hours (no medical certificate)
• Client no-show
• Late arrival where session can't be completed
• Removal from session due to conduct

Sessions begin at the scheduled start time. No extension for late arrival, no partial refund. Jack waits a maximum of 15 minutes before treating the session as a no-show — however this can be negotiated with Jack on the day. Contact Jack directly if you are running late.

If Jack is 15+ minutes late without prior notice, the client is entitled to a full refund or free reschedule at their choice.

No cash refunds for weather. A session credit (make-up lesson) is issued instead. Jack has sole discretion to determine if conditions are unplayable. Do not assume cancelled unless Jack contacts you directly.

• Under 20 min played — full session credit
• 20–40 min played — partial credit at Jack's discretion
• Over 40 min of 60 played — session considered complete, no credit

Sessions may be cancelled above 38°C or in lightning. Same credit policy applies. Lightning = immediate court evacuation.

• Treat the coach and all others with respect
• Arrive on time, appropriately dressed
• Follow safety instructions without argument
• Do not attend under the influence of alcohol or substances
• Disclose any new injury before every session

Jack may end a session immediately without refund for abusive behaviour, refusal to follow safety instructions, or conduct endangering others.

Clients must disclose all pre-existing injuries, medical conditions and physical limitations before their first session, and notify Jack of any changes before each subsequent session.

Jack holds a current First Aid certification. In the event of a medical emergency during a session, Jack will provide first aid and call emergency services if required.

Jack may cancel for illness, family emergency, unsafe conditions or court unavailability. Clients receive a make-up credit or full Stripe refund if no make-up is available within 30 days.

Jack may film technique clips for coaching feedback shared to the client only. No promotional use of client footage without explicit written consent. Clients may record their own sessions for personal review only.

Personal information is collected for coaching purposes only and is not sold or shared with third parties. Session and health records are retained for a minimum of 3 years.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Disputes are first addressed informally; if unresolved within 14 days, either party may escalate through NSW Fair Trading.
